We’re ushering in a new era for Design de Plume. We see ourselves as amplifiers of marginalized voices, and everyone at DDP has worked hard to reflect this core value in our new branding and website. This refresh builds on our growth over the past several years while reflecting our values, expertise, and ongoing commitment to providing top-of-class services for our clients.

Our mission is to create culturally relevant messaging, marketing, and design around our core lenses: Indigeneity, Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Sustainability.

The DDP team has undertaken a transformative journey to redefine our brand identity, aligning it more closely with who we are and what we stand for. Rooted in a deep appreciation for Indigenous heritage, our new brand draws inspiration from beadwork and quillwork. Through the integration of subtle, Indigenous handcrafted-inspired shapes, we strike a balance that places a firm emphasis on showcasing our portfolio and client projects, while also honouring our cultural influences.

Our chosen colour palette reflects this commitment, employing bold and vibrant hues to create a visually impactful aesthetic. By weaving elements of Indigenous culture into our brand identity, we not only celebrate our own heritage but also pay homage to the diverse cultures and traditions of our clients.

This evolution not only represents who we are but also signifies our dedication to fostering meaningful connections through design. We embody tailored innovation while maintaining authenticity and transparency in every interaction. It was very important to us to create a space for our client work to shine. The brand is simplified while still retaining boldness, and maintaining important elements like our signature pink colour, balanced with a heavier use of the ink and our feather motif.
