The CTA is a non-advocacy, non-partisan think tank and education not-for-profit tackling the future of road transportation.
The CTA wanted to create a Canada-wide campaign that would address gaps in lack of understanding of what ‘NET zero’ meant to the transportation industry, including personal vehicles. Everyone has to be a part of the solution. The campaign wanted to remind the public of the amazing work they’ve already done for sustainability and how they could make those changes in their vehicle’s fuel.
How we helped
DDP worked with the CTA team to create a campaign that tied in several elements ranging from Indigenous participation (and understanding of their unique roles) to graphically highlighting the campaign’s goals with a branded look. We also took into consideration some of the public who were looking for clear direction about how they might help make decisions or provide influence even if they were not the primary family member who dealt with their vehicle.
Making a difference
This campaign along with additional work from the CTA demonstrates the complexity of the market and the opportunity that exists in pursuing multiple low-carbon pathways. It also prompts further discussion around the benefits of supporting early carbon mitigation for existing technologies available in the market today while we continue to advance alternative energy sources for integration a decade from now.
